There are 2 pavilions available for public use in Lytle Park.

On the west side of the park sits our larger of the two. Adjacent to the popular children’s playground and across the road from the large set of tennis courts, it is our most requested. Because of its size we very often reserve only ½ for smaller groups.

On the east side of the park, directly south of the pool entrance, you would find our smaller pavilion. A wood structure in a hexagon shape, it is nestled away from high activity areas.

We do not charge for the pavilions use, but we do encourage making reservations. We take the time to post the names of the reserving parties and ask that everyone respect those postings.

Picnic tables, located throughout the park, are not reserved. They remain available on a first come /first serve basis. To reserve a pavilion call our office (217) 234-2464 or fill out our reservation form.

We expect all users of the park and its facilities to “Leave No Trace.” To put it simply, please, for everyone’s benefit, clean up after yourselves, treat others visiting the park with respect, and do not disturb wildlife, plants or their habitats. Help us to keep the park looking nice.

Large Pavilion

• 120′ x 42′, will accommodate up to 120 people
• Electricity and grills on site.
• 16 tables, 8ft. in length
• Often reserved as 1/2 for groups smaller than 60

Small Pavilion

• 30′ diameter, will accommodate up to 40 people
• Electricity and grill on site.
• 6 tables, 6ft. in length
